Read on for our top list of Atlanta events in January 2023!
1. Falcons v. Cardinals at Mercedes-Benz Stadium (January 1st, 2023)
There’s a special magic in the air when you visit the Stadium on the very first day of the year…and we personally believe that it’ll bring the Falcons a little extra luck as they face off against the Arizona Cardinals. Tickets are on sale via Ticketmaster, and are coming in at a starting price of $34/ticket–which is pretty accessible for Mercedes-Benz stadium events.
Everyone needs a ticket for admission, excluding children shorter than 33″. Any bags you bring with you must be clear, and smaller than 12 x 6 x 12 inches. The game begins promptly at 1 pm EST, so we do recommend showing up early!
Looking for a quick bite to eat near the stadium? Consider stopping by the Busy Bee Cafe or Dat Fire Jerk Chicken in Northeast ATL.
2. MLK Day: Trials to Triumph Event (January 16th, 2023)
Celebrate MLK Day with the vibrant Atlanta community with the Northeast Atlanta MLK Day: Triumphs to Trials event! Admission is completely free, and you’ll get a front-row seat to the story and life of Martin Luther King, Jr. The event will be held on the grounds of the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta, giving you the perfect location and atmosphere to celebrate unity and progression in our culture and around the nation. The presentation begins promptly at 3 pm EST. Parking is available around the premises of the church grounds.
3. January New Year Dinner – MLK Day (January 16th, 2023)
Finished at the Trials to Triumph event, or simply want to be out on the town to celebrate MLK? Stop by Castleberry Market on January 16th for a special MLK potluck dinner–honoring women and girls throughout the NE Atlanta area, sponsored by Together Women Rise. The meal will begin at 5:30 pm EST, and admission is free. Be sure to track the event page on AllEvents. In for more information!
4. Atlanta Winter Wine Festival (January 21st, 2023)
Sip and savor at the Northeast Atlanta Winter Wine Festival! This special event will be taking place at the City Winery off North Avenue, right in the heart of our beautiful city. The event is divided up into two main sessions, 12:00 pm-4:00 pm, and 6:00 pm-10:00 pm, respectively. This gives you more time to commune, relax with your fellow community members, and savor some delicious food between sessions.
With over 50+ wines to choose from, we’re confident that there’s something available for every taste palate and preference. A small beer selection is also available if you’re looking for something with a little more body and boldness.
Come by and take in the atmosphere, courtesy of the live musical guests and DJ QTip! Tickets begin at $45/person in advance and rise to $50/person after January 13th. You can also purchase tickets on the day of the event, at which point they’ll be $60/person.
Tickets are on sale now. You can purchase and book in advance at BigTickets.com.
